Who Are We
The Mali Service Center (MSC) is an independent service organization established in 2004 by the US National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), in partnership with the University of Bamako. The MSC provides guidance and oversight in the administration and disbursement of grant and contract funds to ensure compliance with international and local rules and regulations.
Our Mission
Our mission is to ensure that researchers can focus on their scientific work by handling complex administrative tasks, ensuring full compliance with international and local funding policies, and maintaining transparent financial practices. By reducing the administrative burden on research teams, MSC promotes operational efficiency, accountability, and responsiveness to diverse client needs
What We Do
We insure compliance with all funding institutions grants policies. It also supports a variety of programs funded by diverse governmental and non-governmental organizations conducting research in Mali. Some of our clients include the US National Institutes of Health, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the Doris Duke Foundation, the United States Army and the Howard Hughes Foundation
